2025 UBT Scholars Academy Program Scholarship
Union Bank & Trust invites graduating seniors from Lincoln Public Schools to apply for its inaugural UBT Scholars Academy program and scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Here’s how it works: One senior from each of the eight LPS high schools will be selected to participate in a day-long workshop to learn strategies for managing financial life in college. Topics covered include how to set goals, budgeting with scholarships and student loans, building an emergency savings fund, how to develop a credit score, avoiding debt, and understanding federal student aid. By the end of the workshop, participants will have learned the necessary skills to make informed money management and personal finance decisions in college.
Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarships will be distributed directly to each participant’s choice of college upon verification of enrollment.
