Begin at the historic Durham Museum, where a guided tour, the region’s largest indoor Christmas tree, and the wonders of *Christmas at Union Station* capture the spirit of the season. After a festive catered luncheon, we’ll head to the beautifully decorated Holland Performing Arts Center to enjoy pre-show merriment before the star attraction, the iconic *Physicians Mutual Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration*. The walking tour was informational, and we still had plenty of time go out on our own. The excursion to Mt. Pilatus was one of my favorites. I’ll admit I was terrified to ride in the cable car and gondola, but the views were worth it.  I never had the desire to go on a riverboat cruise, but I’m so happy that I did. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff on board. They were so polite and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. We always picked the leisurely option (of the included excursions) and we saw just as much as the regular walking tours, if not more. Each stop had extremely knowledgeable guides that could answer any question. Our guide in Heidelberg was super entertaining, and you could tell he loved what he did.  I didn’t want the trip to come to an end; leaving was the worst part! I know I would jump at the chance to do it all over again. I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to take this trip with my parents.
